ASSEMBLY
Head/Body: Position the body onto the back of the head. Using the yarn tail from the body, sew it onto the head spanning rnds 7-13.

*Note: The opening of the body may appear to be really large but that is exactly what we want!
Ears: Sew the ears onto the head spanning rnds 4-5, 12 sts apart. Pinch the ears to created a pointier look.
*Tip: They should be inline with the center of rnd 1.

*Note: Facial features in place for better reference.
Front Legs: Lay the body against a flat surface and use sewing pins to position the limbs on so they touch the surface. Do NOT eyeball this or you'll have floating limbs! Sew the front legs on between rnds 13-15, 6 sts apart (from the belly-side).
Back Legs: Sew the legs spanning rnds 4-6, 6 sts apart (from the belly-side).
Tail: Position the tail so that it is centered with the back legs. Sew it onto the body spanning rnds 5-6.

DETAILS
Nose: Cut 6 in. [~15 cm] of Dark Brown embroidery thread. Use the yarn needle to weave into the side of the head, leaving a short tail. Embroider the nose centered between the eyes, 1 st wide. Weave over it twice to make it thicker. Weave back out where you entered from and secure the thread tails into a knot before burying them.

Mane: Separate small segments of cream colored roving wool and work carefully in small increments. With the needle felting tool, poke near the neck only and form 6 tufts to form the mane. Be sure to to work around the front legs. Continue to add more wool to make it thicker before trimming it down into zig-zag segments.
*Note: Needle felting works best on acrylic yarn but it is still possible with cotton and chenille yarn. My tip is to just work carefully and slowly. If you do not have access to roving wool, you can also brush out acrylic yarn to create a similar texture.

You're finished!
