Free Crochet Pattern - Grayson the Ghost

Say hello to Grayson the Ghost!

This little cutie can be made into a cute spooky garland or keychain. Fun fact: He was my very first pattern I sold on Etsy. I will never forget when that "kaching" sound effect chimed as I was on my evening walk. I did a little happy dance! Grayson gave me the courage and motivation to keep trying my hand at pattern designing. While my style has evolved over the years, he still holds a special place in my heart.

Stuff head lightly.

Rnd 13: (BLO) - (DEC) x 6 [6]

Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Go through the FLO of each st and pull the hole closed.

BODY:

Switch to 3.5 hook. Work in the remaining loops left from rnd 13 and join new yarn.

Rnd 1: (FLO) - (INC) x 12 [24]

Rnds 2-3. SC all around (2 rnds total) [24]

Rnd 4: (3 SC, INC) x 6 [30]

Rnd 5: (4 SC, INC) x 6 [36]

Rnd 6: (SC, HDC, DC INC, HDC, SC, SLST) x 6 [42]

Fasten off, weave in tail.

ASSEMBLY:

1. Cut a small oval mouth out of black felt and two smaller ovals out of pink felt. Secure them on the face with fabric glue. I like to keep the height between mouth and the eyes relatively small for a cuter look!

2. Glue on the bowtie.

You’re finished!
