Free Crochet Pattern - Potion Bottle

Potions are mysterious in every way. Inside of each charming bottle lays strange possibilities.

Some potions are meant to heal while others are to harm. Some cause strange effects (such as turning into an animal) or grant certain powers for a limited time.

What's your favorite potion?

Finishing Touches

Cut ~12 in. [~30.5 cm] of twine and tie it around the neck of each bottle 3x. Then, tie a bow and trim the tail ends short. [img 7]

And you’re finished!

Bonus Idea: You can modify your potion bottles to make them appear half full - or half empty - by changing to White yarn for the neck of the bottle.

What are some of your favorite potions? Below are some of mine from some well known books and movies.

  • Polyjuice Potion (Harry Potter)
    • Transforms the person who drinks it into the physical form of another person for up to an hour.
  • Amortencia (Harry Potter)
    • The strongest love potion in existence, causing the person who consumes it to develop a powerful infatuation for the person who administers it.
  • Potion of Healing (Dungeons and Dragons)
    • Whoever drinks the potion regains 2d4+2 Hit Points
  • Spicy Elixer (Breath of the Wild)
    • Perfect for those who hate the cold. A sip will prevent your fingers and toes from freezing over.
