Giant Panda Crochet Pattern

I made my friend this for her graduation! I gave her the nickname dumpling so this fit her perfectly. I know this a pattern for a giant bao but I made a few changes and love the results. I cant wait to do the panda pattern!

I have been making crocheted Snowy Owls from a very simple pattern that got at a crochet workshop at our National wildlife Refuge where I am a volunteer. I see Snowy Owls frequently in the Refuge here. And I really wanted to find a pattern that was more realistic. I was thrilled when I spotted this pattern, but was also a bit skeptical because it looked so perfect. I was afraid it was an AI generated pattern, as so many are these days. But I carefully read the reviews from other crocheters who purchased and made this pattern and they all gave 5-star reviews. So, I decided to take a chance, and I am very happy to say, I was not disappointed.

This pattern is well written, easy to follow and I really appreciate the additional backup video clips that explain the more complex stitches, like the feet. I also appreciated the details instructions for assembling all the parts.

And happy news... I made this Snowy Owl for a regular customer who asked if I could make one for her grandson. I made two... one of my simpler pattern which is smaller and this one. She was thrilled and ended up buying both of them!

Now I have to make another one for myself! Thank you for this excellent pattern!
