Jumbo Heart (view materials to determine which hook size you need):

*Note: We will make the two humps first and join them.

Rnd 1: Make a magic circle and (sc) x6 [6]

Rnd 2: (inc) x6 [12]

Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x6 [18]

Rnd 4: (sc, inc, sc) x6 [24]

Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc) x6 [30]

Rnd 6: sc all around [30]

Fasten off on the first piece. Make the second piece but do not fasten off. We will be joining pieces together. Don’t worry about the gap - we’ll sew it closed later!

Rnd 7: Join pieces (here’s a wonderful tutorial). sc all around both humps. [60]

Rnd 8: (4 sc, dec, 4 sc) x6 [54]

Rnd 9: (7 sc, dec) x6 [48]

Rnd 13: (5 sc, dec) x6 [36]

Rnd 14: (5 sc, dec, 5 sc) x3 [33]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff some more using the tips of your scissors to get through the small opening. Go through the flo of each stitch and cinch to sew the hole closed.

Using the same yarn tail, sew the gap at the top of the heart from joining the pieces closed.

How do you work the larger heart with 2 different colors? Work both colors at the same time?
